Racquets @ The Avenue is owned and run by Paul Skipp, who is arguably one of the World’s best racquet stringers. He has over 30 years of stringing experience, and spent nearly half that time working at The Championships, Wimbledon; where he has risen to the position of Head Stringer.

Throw in nine French Opens, numerous Masters/ATP/WTA tournaments, a Davis Cup for Australia, and Fed Cup for GB; you can see that Paul is well travelled; but he is happy to make The Avenue the home for his Pro Shop.

We Stock

The Pro Shop stocks tennis racquets from Head, Babolat, and Yonex. Demo racquets are available in most adult racquets. Junior racquets covering all sizes also available from the same brands. Squash racquets from Tecnifiibre and Head, and racquetball racquets from Head. Along with racquets, you can buy grips, bags, balls, dampeners, and other racquet related accessories.

Services

Of course there is also the stringing service, completed to the same level that the top players receive. The Pro Shop has a wide variety of strings from the major brands including Head, Babolat, Luxilon, Wilson etc.
