LTA Summer County Cup

The LTA’s Summer County Cup event – commonly know as ‘County Week’ is possibly the oldest tennis event on the domestic calendar, dating back as far as 1895.

44 counties across the nation are divided into groups based on their results of the previous year’s event with Group 1 being the ‘premier league’. Teams compete against each other over a week to see which team comes out as champions.

2025 sees The Avenue hosting Mens Group 4 event with the counties competing at the club to be confirmed:

Play begins at 10.30am, by which time catering facilities will be underway and our outstanding bar will also be open from midday.

All are welcome to come and watch some quality tennis while soaking up the social atmosphere the club is renowned for!
